Our Steakhouse in Sydney’s North Shore doesn’t quite make sense — and that’s exactly the point.

Fox & Hounds lives inside a retro 1960s motel on Ingram Road, Wahroonga — not where you’d expect to find some of the finest wagyu on the North Shore, which is precisely what makes it special. With marble score 5 through to 9+. Ribeye, eye fillet, scotch fillet & sirloin, we’ve sourced with obsession, cooked with precision, and serve in an atmosphere where the only thing taken seriously is what’s on your plate.

We run 50% off wagyu nights on weekdays. Frozen cocktail slushies sit alongside serious wine lists. Kids are welcome. Dogs are welcome. And the owner will happily pull up a chair and talk beef with you all night if you let him.

And yet — the steak is genuinely exceptional.

That’s the Fox & Hounds spirit, and we’ve leaned into it completely. Because great food doesn’t need a grand entrance to prove itself, and the best night out on the North Shore shouldn’t feel like an occasion you have to dress up for.
